We create standby redo logs easily enough, the problem is now that we want to relocate them. Is there an easy way to do that? When I considered this months ago, I couldn't even delete them from the database (the idea being to recreate them in a new location). I'm sure someone's encountered this before: any info would be appreciated! Thanks,

Mike Confused

There Could be an option not sure and never tried but

If you stop managed recovery on the standby database.
1:shutdown database
2:startup mount
3:issue rename command.
4:check the validity by opening the database in read only mode
5:shutdown again
6:mount
7:put again in recovery mode.

Thats what in mine MIND.
